The Story of My Mission

My name is Charlie Keeble, and I am the founder and creative director of NeuroZion. You may have seen me in those distinctive eye-catching t-shirts on Instagram, at the Stop the Hate counter-demonstrations and Jewish Pride marches in London. Then there is that viral video on Instagram, in which I showcased my pride in defiantly defending the Jewish people with this creative enterprise as a light in the darkness in a country gripped by a civil rights crisis. Antisemitism is sweeping this country, and it also runs parallel to the ablest prejudices that I experience as an autistic man. The selective empathy is about social eugenics, and it is the root of a cacophonic and dysfunctional nation that is dismissing Jewish suffering and having experienced antisemitism myself, I can tell you just how much it stunts people's brains and diminishes innovation and enlightenment. Jews must count, or else autistic lives will not survive or thrive. The world needs to see the things the Jewish people have done for the glory and freedom of their own self-determination, which makes me as noble as those righteous among the nations.

I am a self-advocate for autism and Zionism, celebrating and honouring the Jewish people's contributions to advancing autistic people. Through my journalism and social media activism, I inspire the neurodiversity community to stand with the Jewish people. I have a blog on the Times of Israel, appeared in the Jewish Chronicle and have been awarded the glass flower from the White Rose Society. I see Israel as a metaphorically autistic country, from the way the Jews have been outstanding in science and art. The same subjects that succeed when a dash of autism is thrown in. As well as being a talented designer for artistic t-shirts, I am a passionate science geek and I have written my own series of articles about science for a local online newspaper. I have self-published three books and am pursuing a new creative direction to develop documentary media features like films and TV shows about neurodivergent Jewish subjects. According to an Israeli psychologist in Israel, autistic people are seen as the closest beings to God, and I am dedicated to exploring this belief to spread light, creative power and self-determination of neurodiversity among the nations.
